Welcome to the orientation course that is to be completed by all Nursing supervisors joining La Vie Care group.

This course should  be completed within your first week of employment.

Once your probation period is complete, it is requested that you familiarise yourself with the carer course level 1 for supervisory purposes.

Once your probation period is complete, it is mandatory to proceed to the Level 1 Academy course as your next step in training.

This presentation is a short introduction to all QCTO (Quality Council for Trades and Occupations) occupational qualifications. This information needs to be seen by all learners that want to embark in obtaining any accredited QCTO occupational qualifications, no matter through which school they are studying. 

This course includes the skills and knowledge required to provide first aid response, how to manage the incident, casualty and other first aiders until the arrival of emergency medical assistance. It is the first of 3 levels of first aid and is known as basic first aid.

At the end of the presentation there is a quiz that can be completed on moodle. There is also a written test to be printed from the dashboard, completed and emailed back. This must be done before your practical session in a weeks time.
